One of my favorite films.
The Dreamers, directed by Bernardo Bertolucci, focuses on an American in Paris who, after meeting a peculiar brother and sister who are fellow cinephiles, becomes entangled in an erotic dream-world with the two. It is set against the backdrop of the 1968 Paris student riots and makes several references to various movies of early cinema, including clips from the films which are often imitated by the actors, like in the photo above.
